Job summary

Red Bananas is seeking a senior, hands-on Performance & Media Buying lead in Jeddah. You will own the end-to-end performance and media-buying work for accounts, setting strategy, presenting results to clients, and guiding a team of junior marketers who execute alongside you.

You will be the player-coach: strategic yet hands-on with analytics, optimization, and direct client engagement in Arabic and English.

Qualifications

• Critical thinking: question the brief, spot inconsistencies, and reason from first principles.
• Agile ownership: take ownership of problems and drive them to completion.
• Comfort with fast, changing work in an agile environment.
• AI & tools fluency; using tools like Claude to speed up tasks.
• Fluent across the performance stack: GA4, Microsoft Clarity, and ad platforms.
• Set up conversions, tracking, and campaigns end-to-end.
• Face clients and present work clearly, confidently, and resist pushback.
• Build media plans from objective to channel mix and budget.
• Real analytical ability: find correlations, run regressions, turn data into decisions.
• Comfortable working bilingually in Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance and media-buying results for your accounts: targets, spend, and outcomes.
• Run the campaigns yourself: build, optimize, and monitor numbers.
• Lead and develop a team of junior performance marketers.
• Face clients directly: present strategy and results and defend the numbers.
• Build media plans (channel mix, budget splits, pacing) and justify every line.
• Set up and manage measurement: conversions, tracking, and campaigns across platforms.
• Do the actual analysis: correlations, regressions, and turning data into decisions.
• Use AI to move faster across drafting, analysis, reporting, and custom tools.
• Keep every account tracked live and reported honestly.
