Job summary

NMDC Energy seeks a Senior Offshore Construction Engineer for our projects in Saudi Arabia. You will coordinate multiple offshore activities, lead construction teams, and ensure safe, timely execution across all project phases.

The role requires a bachelor degree in engineering and 8+ years of offshore construction experience in oil and gas. Proficiency in English, strong negotiation skills, and a team-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years' experience in Offshore Construction in Oil & Gas Industry.
Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
Good negotiation and decision-making skills.
Committed team player/ leader.
Thorough understanding of offshore operations and equipment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor activities during project execution phases, assisting and leading the Construction Engineer under the Offshore Construction Manager.
Prepare offshore project deliverables and attend kickoff/strategy meetings.
Develop offshore execution plans, construction schedules, and analyses considering milestones and barge availability.
Review engineering documents from a constructability perspective.
Coordinate offshore scope with internal departments and subcontractors; manage progress and interface documents.
Issuance of Purchase Requisitions for offshore materials and liaise with procurement.
Attend methods/constructability meetings and review installation procedures and drawings.
Support safety plans, HSEMS and ISO requirements; participate in audits and closeout actions.
Prepare mobilization plans and support weekly/monthly client meetings.
