Job summary

Worley seeks a senior professional to provide independent technical leadership on nuclear safety, radiation protection, environmental compliance, and emergency preparedness throughout the project lifecycle.

The role ensures compliance with Saudi Arabian regulations, IAEA standards, and international best practices while reviewing EPC contractor deliverables and supporting licensing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in nuclear industry with focus on safety, radiation protection, emergency preparedness, environmental management or regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of IAEA Safety Standards and international nuclear regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent nuclear safety reviews and technical assurance activities.
• Review safety case documentation (PSAR, FSAR) and supporting analyses.
• Oversee environmental compliance programmes and radiation protection strategies.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and response programmes with national authorities.
• Support regulatory submissions and licensing activities; interface with regulators.
