Job summary

Worley seeks a Lead Nuclear Safety & Environmental Engineer to provide independent technical leadership across the project lifecycle, ensuring regulatory compliance and a strong safety culture.

You will review safety cases, manage environmental protection strategies, and coordinate emergency preparedness with local authorities, while supporting licensing and regulatory submissions in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in the nuclear industry.
• Experience in nuclear safety, radiation protection, emergency preparedness, environmental management, or regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of IAEA Safety Standards and international nuclear regulations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent nuclear safety reviews and technical assurance activities.
• Review safety case documentation (PSAR, FSAR) and supporting analyses.
• Oversee environmental protection and radiation protection programs.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and response planning with authorities.
• Support licensing and regulatory submissions and interface with regulators.
