Job summary

Weatherford International Oil Field Services in Saudi Arabia seeks a Field Engineer III MPD to plan, execute and optimize Managed Pressure Drilling operations at customer well sites, providing advanced engineering expertise and on-site leadership to ensure safe, efficient drilling.

You will work closely with customers and crews, supervise MPD equipment, monitor hydraulic data, support pre-job planning, and mentor junior engineers while complying with API standards and HSE policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in petroleum or related engineering field.
• Minimum 7 years of oil and gas drilling experience with MPD.
• IWCF/IADC supervisor-level well control certification.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work rotation schedules.
• Experience in onshore and offshore MPD projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead MPD operations per approved engineering programs and HSE standards.
• Provide real-time engineering support during drilling and related activities.
• Monitor hydraulic performance and pressure data to maintain wellbore control.
• Operate automated MPD control systems and adjust as needed.
• Prepare daily reports and end-of-well documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with customers and contractors.
