Job summary

Weatherford is seeking a Field Engineer III for Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) operations in Saudi Arabia. You will plan, execute, and optimize MPD activities, delivering advanced engineering guidance, and leading operational teams on both onshore and offshore projects.

You will collaborate with customers, drilling contractors, and internal teams to ensure safe, efficient drilling, adherence to standards, and continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• 7+ years in oil and gas drilling with MPD experience.
• IWCF or IADC Well Control Supervisor Level.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work rotational assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead MPD operations execution per approved programs and HSE standards.
• Provide real-time engineering support during drilling and well construction.
• Monitor and optimize drilling parameters and hydraulic performance.
• Operate automated MPD control systems to maintain target bottom-hole pressure.
• Prepare daily reports, end-of-well reports, and lessons learned.
• Mentor junior field engineers and support equipment commissioning and maintenance.
