Job summary
AtkinsRéalis in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks an experienced Field Engineer - Mechanical to supervise mechanical construction activities on a large-scale development project. You will ensure HVAC, piping, drainage and fire protection systems are installed, tested, and commissioned per drawings, specs, and codes while coordinating with MEP teams and contractors.
Reporting to the Resident Engineer, you will review shop drawings, lead QA/QC, monitor progress, and ensure safety and quality across
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years total experience in mechanical engineering and construction supervision.
- 5+ years as Mechanical Field/Site Engineer on major building projects.
- Experience with large-scale buildings and hospitality developments.
- Experience in Site Supervision Consultancy or Engineering Consultancy environments.
Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical construction works per drawings, specs and contract.
- Monitor HVAC, piping, drainage, and related systems installation.
- Review contractor shop drawings, submittals and method statements.
- Verify compliance with submittals and project specs.
- Conduct site inspections ensuring quality workmanship.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical and specialist systems.
- Witness tests, pressure tests, balancing, and commissioning procedures.
- Support QA/QC requirements for all mechanical installations.
- Maintain progress reporting and document control.
