Job summary

Eram Talent is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join Saudi Arabia's Sadara utility department. You will lead maintenance and reliability activities for world‑scale utility assets, including boilers, steam turbines, and pumps, with a focus on lifecycle optimization and safety.

The role requires 10+ years in petrochemical maintenance, strong RCA experience, and proficiency in SAP‑PM and AutoCAD. English communication and stakeholder collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years in petrochemical maintenance.
• Experience maintaining boilers, steam turbines, pumps, and RO plants.
• Proven leadership in RCA and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Proficient in SAP Plant Maintenance and AutoCAD software.
• Strong knowledge of API and ASME codes for refinery utilities.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance execution for utility assets, including high‑pressure boilers and turbines.
• Perform formal RCA investigations using 5‑Why or Fishbone methodologies.
• Apply RC M strategies to improve MTBF for rotating and static equipment.
• Ensure steam headers, demineralized water plants, and cooling networks are reliable.
• Define mechanical scope for turnarounds and supervise overhaul activities.
• Supervise third‑party contractors to meet safety and quality standards.
• Analyze vibration, oil, and thermography data to predict failures.
• Ensure repairs comply with API 610/617 and ASME Section VIII.
• Oversee SAP PM work orders and maintain accurate maintenance history.
• Drive Zero Harm culture through JSA and Process Safety Management.
• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
