WSP USA is seeking an experienced Materials Engineer to join our Construction Supervision team on a major roads and highways infrastructure project. You will oversee all materials-related activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, contract requirements, and industry best practices.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in roads and highways construction supervision, with a strong technical background in review, approval, testing, and QA of construction

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in an accredited engineering discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of post-graduate experience.
• Extensive experience in roads/highways construction supervision.
• Proven track record with reputable engineering consultancy firms.
• Strong QA/QC and material approvals experience.
• Experience with lab testing oversight and ITPs.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• GCC/Middle East project experience desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage all materials engineering and QA activities.
• Review and approve material submittals and specs.
• Ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.
• Review mix designs for asphalt and concrete.
• Supervise testing by contractors and labs.
• Monitor QA/QC and ITP compliance.
• Review test reports and provide recommendations.
• Audit batching/plant and material production facilities.
• Coordinate with contractors, labs, suppliers, authorities.
• Mentor Materials Inspectors and junior staff.
• Resolve material-related non-conformances.
• Prepare technical reports and NCRs.
