Job summary

SYSTRA seeks a Senior Materials Engineer in Riyadh for a major roads program. You will oversee material engineering, QA/QC, review designs and approvals, and ensure compliance with ASTM/AASHTO/BS standards.

The role requires 15+ years of relevant experience, with PMC or consultancy background. English proficiency is essential; Arabic is a plus. Site and field testing will be conducted across Saudi sites, with remote coordination as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Materials Engineering.
• 15+ years in materials engineering for roads/infrastructure.
• PMC or consultancy experience highly desirable.
• English fluency; Arabic an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve material submittals, samples and sources.
• Monitor field/lab testing and ensure compliance with standards.
• Prepare material reports and support QA/QC on site.
