Job summary

Egis is seeking a Senior Facility Management Engineer in Riyadh to oversee landscape and green infrastructure operations across properties, driving optimal performance and cost efficiency.

You will lead a team of maintenance professionals, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and coordinate with vendors for routine and capital projects. English and Arabic communication skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15+ years of landscape O&M management or grounds operations experience, with at least 8 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Proficiency with irrigation systems, pumping stations, water distribution networks, and landscape mechanical equipment.
• Strong project management capabilities with experience overseeing landscape capital improvement projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in budget management, cost analysis, and financial planning for landscape operations.
• Proven leadership and team management experience with landscape maintenance technicians and contractors.
• Advanced knowledge of safety protocols, environmental compliance standards, and Saudi Arabian landscape and irrigation regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily landscape and green infrastructure operations, including irrigation systems, pumping stations, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Manage tree care and arboriculture maintenance programs, including pruning, health monitoring, pest management, and seasonal treatments to ensure tree vitality and safety.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and schedules for landscape features, irrigation networks, and pumping stations to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Manage facility budgets, analyze operational costs, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and water efficiency improvements across landscape operations.
• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of landscape maintenance technicians and contractors, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality benchmarks.
• Coordinate with vendors and specialized contractors for landscape maintenance, tree services, pumping station repairs, and capital improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with local Saudi regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols for landscape and irrigation operations.
• Utilize facility management software and systems to track maintenance activities, equipment performance, and work orders for landscape operations.
• Develop and execute water management and sustainability strategies to reduce consumption and operational expenses.
• Prepare detailed reports on landscape performance, maintenance activities, tree health assessments, and recommendations for senior management.
