Job summary
Egis Group is seeking an experienced Irrigation Engineer to join the Project Management Office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will oversee irrigation systems for urban development projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget while meeting high quality standards and sustainable water objectives.
The role requires strong expertise in irrigation design, hydraulics, and water distribution, with proficiency in CAD, BIM, and GIS.
Qualifications
- Irrigation system design experience is required.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and water distribution is essential.
- Proficiency with CAD, BIM and GIS software is expected.
- Experience in project governance or PMO environments is preferred.
- Strong communication in English; Arabic is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Oversee irrigation projects from planning to completion within PMO.
- Develop technical specs, drawings and documentation for irrigation systems.
- Analyze water resource needs and optimize irrigation efficiency.
- Coordinate with urban planners, contractors and regulators.
- Monitor budgets, timelines and resources; report progress to leadership.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for urban irrigation.
- Prepare project reports and performance metrics for management.
- Ensure compliance with local codes and environmental standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements.
