Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Senior Landscape/Hardscape Specialist in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role leads landscape and hardscape design projects, oversees construction supervision, and coordinates with architects, engineers and planners to integrate designs into large infrastructure programs.

Candidates should have 15+ years in landscape/hardscape roles, strong AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite skills, and a related degree (Master's preferred).

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in landscape architecture or hardscape design for infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of plant materials, irrigation, and hardscape construction.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead landscape and hardscape design projects from concept to construction supervision.
• Develop plans, drawings and specs per project requirements and standards.
• Perform site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate designs into project plans.
• Mentor junior landscape architects and design staff.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulators to obtain approvals.
• Monitor construction progress and quality against design specs.
• Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and design changes.
• Prepare presentations and reports for client meetings.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
