The role covers on-site and remote users with a practical, hands-on approach to resolving problems.

You will coordinate daily service requests, assist with preventive maintenance, manage antivirus systems, and ensure data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical discipline preferred.
• Over eight years of experience in technical operations or IT support preferred.
• Experience in user software testing, software evaluation, and operational procedures in a networked environment preferred.
• Ability to deliver effective technical assistance to both on-site and remote users.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues before escalation.
• Good verbal and written communication, coordinating IT requests.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to employees contacting IT help desk by phone or email.
• Respond to user inquiries and troubleshoot tickets for on-site and remote employees.
• Investigate reported problems, identify causes, evaluate solutions, implement resolutions.
• Diagnose application malfunctions and restore normal system functionality.
• Review help desk ticket trends to identify recurring problems and improve troubleshooting.
• Assist with preventive maintenance for computers and network equipment.
• Maintain antivirus systems and data protection measures.
• Coordinate routine IT service requests, including user account creation/deletion and email group maintenance.
• Test potential solutions and verify issue resolution.
• Address problems independently where possible and escalate when needed.
