Job summary

JASARA PMC in Riyadh is seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to lead analysis and documentation of complex business processes and translate needs into clear functional specifications and design documents.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors through the project lifecycle, mentor junior analysts, and promote best practices in BA methodologies, SDLC, and agile frameworks. This role requires strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in business analysis within IT environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex requirements gathering and project documentation.
• Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Proficiency with business analysis and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering and analysis sessions with business stakeholders to identify needs and objectives.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications and design documents.
• Conduct impact analysis, gap analysis, and feasibility studies to inform decision-making.
• Collaborate with IT teams, project managers, and vendors to ensure successful delivery of IT solutions.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation including process flows, use cases, and user stories.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure shared understanding and resolve issues.
• Support testing activities by developing test plans and coordinating user acceptance testing.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in business analysis methodologies.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative improvements.
