Job summary

AECOM in Riyadh is seeking a seasoned Planning Leader to guide complex infrastructure projects from concept to delivery. You will lead planning teams, advise executives, and ensure regulatory compliance across megaprojects in the ME&Africa region.

Expect extensive experience in major infrastructure, rail, transportation and engineering, with a track record delivering on schedule and budget. This on-site role requires collaboration with local offices and a commitment to safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree is preferred but not essential.
• PMP certification is included; Primavera P6 certification is advantageous.
• Typically 12+ years of planning and scheduling experience, with at least 5 years in a lead or management position.
• Extensive experience in major infrastructure, rail, transportation, construction, or engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Develops and evaluates plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities to be carried out by others.
• Assesses the feasibility and soundness of proposed planning products.
• Usually performs as a staff advisor and consultant as to a technical specialty, a type of facility, industry, equipment or program function.
• Monitors and ensures compliance with local, state and federal laws.
• Oversees specialized planning functions, such as large-scale new development proposals and environmental studies.
• Provides overall management of IE-related planning issues.
• Advises the Planning Director on all planning-related matters.
• Advises various councils, boards, commissions and elected officials in planning related issues
• Evaluates operations and activities of assigned responsibilities.
• Prepares reports on operations and activities, recommending improvements and modifications.
