Job summary

WSP in the Middle East seeks a Senior to Principal Hydrogeology Engineer to join the P&B Ground Engineering team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role provides technical leadership across groundwater projects, coordinates multidisciplinary teams, and delivers high-quality hydrogeological assessments and groundwater management solutions.

The position emphasizes 3D groundwater modelling, water balance, and mining/ infrastructure support, with strong client interaction and regional project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hydrogeology, Civil Engineering (Water Resources), or a related field.
• 6–12 years of experience in hydrogeological engineering, groundwater modelling, dewatering design, and groundwater management.
• Strong leadership, project management, and client-facing experience.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and successfully deliver complex groundwater projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage project delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Lead coordination meetings with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight and quality assurance.
• Contribute to proposals and business development initiatives.
• Lead hydrogeological groundwater assessments and model development.
