Job summary

Hill International is seeking an experienced HSSE Supervision Consultant to oversee HSSE provisions on large-scale projects in Saudi Arabia. The role requires an engineering degree (or equivalent) with international certifications and a minimum of 10 years’ experience managing HSSE on projects or facilities.

You will coordinate with the PMC/Construction Manager, liaise with regulators and the Employer, and train staff on HSSE. Strong English communication and presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (or equivalent work experience) with international certifications.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience on large-scale projects.
• Experience managing all HSSE aspects on projects or facilities.
• Extensive knowledge of HSSE laws/regulations and regulatory processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability and adequacy of HSSE provisions per policy and contracts.
• Measure HSSE performance of supervisors and contractors and advise improvements.
• Investigate accidents and recommend preventive actions.
• Record and follow up on HSSE hazards and non-conformances with regulators.
• Coordinate with PMC/Construction Manager on implementing HSSE systems.
• Liaise with Employer, Hill International, and authorities on HSSE adherence.
• Train and induct staff on HSSE.
• Review and approve HSSE documents for suitability and conformance.
• Ensure compliance with project HSSE requirements.
• Carry out HSSE audits and report non-conformances.
• Informed of and compliant with Hill HSSE policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
