Job summary

FLINT INTERNATIONAL MIDDLE EAST is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer with hands-on expertise to build custom AI models deployable on Prem and GCP, bridging Data Science research and enterprise IT production.

You will drive end-to-end ML pipelines, leverage Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Dataflow, and deploy real-time inferences via Vertex endpoints while securing PHI/PII and regulatory compliance in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, AI, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of professional engineering experience deploying ML models into production.
• Deep, hands-on mastery of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for ML workloads.
• Strong Python proficiency and ML libraries; backend API development experience.
• DevOps fundamentals and IaC experience; security and data governance awareness.
• GCP Certifications and healthcare/insurance domain familiarity are a plus.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End ML model development with MLOps pipelines and CI/CD on GCP and Prem.
• Architect the organization’s AI infrastructure using the full GCP data stack.
• Build robust data pipelines and feature stores using BigQuery and Dataflow.
• Train and version control models with Vertex AI tools and registries.
• Deploy low-latency real-time inferences via Vertex AI Endpoints and serverless runtimes.
• Orchestrate batch-scoring with Cloud Composer (Airflow).
• Bridge on-premises data with GCP services via secure interconnects and gateways.
• Implement data masking and PHI/PII protection before cloud inference.
• Wrap models in secure RESTful APIs (FastAPI/Flask) integrated with core systems.
• Monitor data drift and model performance with Vertex AI Model Monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi data sovereignty and health regs (SAMA, PDPL).
• Collaborate with data scientists, SMEs, and product managers to translate needs.
