Job summary

The Red Palace in Riyadh seeks a Chief Accountant to lead the hotel's accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and safeguard assets. This role partners with the Director of Finance to drive regulatory compliance and maintain strong internal controls.

You will supervise the accounting team across credits, payables, asset management, and month‑end close, delivering timely statements and insightful management reports to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a senior accounting or supervisory role.
• Hotel pre-opening experience is strongly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire the accounting team, fostering accountability and growth.
• Ensure timely, accurate and compliant financial statements, statutory filings, and management reports.
• Oversee all accounting functions including AP, cash management, asset accounting, and reconciliations.
• Monitor budgeting and forecasting; provide insights to optimize financial performance.
• Develop and maintain robust policies, procedures and internal controls.
