Job summary

Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya is seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to support our Finance Department and ensure accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity. The role demands hotel accounting expertise and excellent English communication.

Responsibilities include overseeing AP/AR/GL, payroll, budgeting, audits, and financial analysis, while leading a team and maintaining strong internal controls in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Hotel accounting experience mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Office (Excel).
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, payroll, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with hotel financial policies, local regulations, and Hyatt standards.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and analysis for management review.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Lead and supervise the accounting team, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure proper documentation.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions.
• Support department heads with financial insights to improve operational performance.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure proper documentation of financial processes.
