Job summary

Almarai is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead maintenance and asset management across the food manufacturing operations. The role focuses on implementing a total preventive maintenance system to ensure operational readiness and adherence to budgets and performance targets.

The successful candidate will bring 7+ years of engineering management experience in the food industry, with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and knowledge of automation and control systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or UK-standard HND/HNC.
• 7+ years engineering management experience in the food industry with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes and operations.
• Extensive knowledge of engineering plant, equipment and control systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in driving continuous improvement (Lean, TPM).
• Experience in budget management and cost control.
• Strong safety leadership, decision-making and risk management.

• Maintain company assets by implementing a total preventative maintenance system.
• Ensure all plant/equipment are in optimal condition and meet standards and cost controls.
• Ensure adequate provision of skills, labour, and guidance across departments to meet business requirements.
