Job description

Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Manager will have a key responsibility for delivering a 250m USD buildings project in Dammam. The project consists of 10 low to midrise buildings and basic infrastructure works that makes up the new headquarters for a prestigious international client who are expanding dramatically within the kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the project requirements and expectations are on schedule and within cost projections.
• Provide direction and coordination with all relevant disciplines (MEP, infrastructure, civils, etc.).
• Maintain good open communication with all necessary members of the client both internal and external.
• Review all official correspondence and reports for compliance with the project requirements.
• Maintain a good and healthy work environment for all employees.
• Review and comment on project scope definition including the project management plan.
• Be responsible for pre- and post-contract works including design management, statutory permission, NOCs and building permits, contract procurement and contractor appointments.
• Apply expertise in project programming, cost control and contract administration for building and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role you must hold a bachelor's in civil engineering along with 10+ years experience, with at least 3 years KSA experience. You need strong knowledge of project control systems and Quality and Safety procedures within a Tier 1 contractor. The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal and will be able to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders from senior executives to blue collar staff. An understanding of Arabic will be preferential.
