Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical & ICT Commissioning Engineer – Water Assets for NEOM to provide leadership across a major programme. You will review testing, commissioning and handover deliverables, identify gaps, assess risks and propose practical solutions to ensure reliable operational readiness and successful project acceptance.

The role requires 10+ years in commissioning of infrastructure or industrial projects, strong knowledge across mechanical, electrical, ICT and I&C systems, and

Qualifications

• 10+ years in testing, commissioning and handover of major projects.
• Strong knowledge of commissioning across mechanical, electrical, ICT, I&C systems.
• Experience reviewing contractor T&C and handover deliverables.
• Identify gaps, assess risks and propose practical solutions.
• Understanding of asset handover, completion and acceptance processes.

Responsibilities

• Review testing, commissioning and handover deliverables against contractual and technical requirements.
• Support resolution of review comments and close-out with Contractors.
• Identify gaps in submissions and assess impact on testing and handover.
• Assess constraints and risks to achieve full contract‑compliant testing and commissioning.
• Review commissioning programmes and sequencing, including pre‑commissioning and testing phases.
• Witness or support verification of key tests and commissioning activities.
• Support the preparation and review of punch lists, defect close-out and handover documents.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Operations & Maintenance and Asset Management teams to ensure handover readiness.
• Assist transfer of as-built documentation and asset data to the Operator.
