Job summary
Egis Group is seeking an Electrical Site Engineer to lead the oversight of electrical systems for a major airport project in Riyadh. You will manage shop drawings, installation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring adherence to project requirements and international codes.
The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years' experience in airport infrastructure and expertise in LV/MV systems, AIS lighting, and power distribution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years in electrical engineering on airport or large-scale projects.
- Experience with LV/MV electrical systems and airport infrastructure.
- Knowledge of NEC, IEC, NFPA, IES, and aviation standards.
- Software proficiency: ETAP, DIALux, AutoCAD, Revit.
- Experience with shop drawing reviews and load analysis.
Responsibilities
- Oversee shop drawings, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems for airport infrastructure.
- Review drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports for compliance with codes and standards.
- Coordinate with contractors and project teams to ensure timely execution.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and quality checks of electrical works.
- Identify and resolve technical issues; propose value engineering solutions.
- Monitor progress and health & safety compliance.
- Assist in preparing technical reports and submittals; review vendor documents.
