Job summary

Egis is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design, implementation and optimization of electrical systems for our Riyadh operations. You will own projects, mentor engineers, and coordinate across departments to deliver safe, efficient solutions.

This role requires strong knowledge of power distribution, industrial controls, and compliance with IEC and Saudi codes. Travel to site and management of capital projects are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience as an electrical engineer.
• Proven expertise in electrical systems design and power distribution for industrial operations.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, ETAP and SCADA/PLC environments.
• Hands-on experience with safety standards (IEC) and Saudi electrical regulations.
• Leadership experience and ability to mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive electrical systems and infrastructure for operations.
• Analyze system performance and conduct root-cause analysis to minimize downtime.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment to code.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance with cross-functional teams.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of electrical staff and technicians.
• Develop and maintain detailed electrical documentation and schematics.
