Job summary

IDOM in Saudi Arabia is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Buildings team. The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and bring at least 7 years of experience in designing and delivering electrical systems for building projects, with BIM coordination using Revit.

You will work on international projects, coordinating with architectural, structural and MEP disciplines, performing design and calculation of low‑voltage systems, and guiding project objectives to

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 7 years of experience in the design, development and delivery of electrical building services projects.
• Proficiency in design and calculation of low‑voltage electrical systems for buildings, including lighting, power distribution, earthing and PV installations.
• Experience with BIM workflows and Autodesk Revit in multidisciplinary environments.
• Fluency in English (C1+) and Arabic; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, calculate and coordinate electrical installations for building projects.
• Work within BIM‑oriented environments to ensure project objectives are met.
• Provide technical coordination across architectural, structural and MEP disciplines.
• Contribute to international building projects and ongoing future initiatives.
