Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an experienced Design Lead (Electrical - AC) in Riyadh to oversee and execute complex electrical design for solar PV plants. You will lead a team of design engineers and drafters, review layouts, sizing calculations, earthing, and cable routing, and coordinate with Civil/Structural and Instrumentation teams to ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables.

The role requires a strong background in SLD preparation, layout engineering, earthing, and inter-disciplinary design,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in design aspects of Solar PV Power Plants / Power Distribution Projects.

Responsibilities

• Timely delivery of engineering drawings and documents.
• Ensure deliveries align with project schedule.
• Review designs, sizing calculations, and vendor deliverables.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines for inter-departmental checks.
• Provide support to site execution team during commissioning and warranty periods.
