Overview

Want to lead transport design coordination on a flagship luxury development in Riyadh? Your experience managing transport planning and design interfaces on major projects might make you our new Senior Design Manager – Transport. Here, expect the exceptional.

The purpose of this role is to lead transport design management across a major luxury development in Riyadh. You will oversee transport planning and design coordination related to access roads, internal circulation, drop‑off strategies, parking, service movements and multimodal integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead transport design management from planning and concept development through detailed design.
• Coordinate transport consultants and interface with infrastructure, architecture, landscape and utilities teams.
• Review traffic and transport studies, access strategies, circulation plans and technical reports.
• Ensure transport design solutions align with luxury user experience, operational efficiency and authority expectations.
• Support design reviews, technical workshops and approval submissions.
• Manage transport‑related risks, changes and coordination issues across the programme.
• Contribute to value engineering and operational optimisation initiatives.
• Monitor consultant deliverables, key decisions and programme milestones.
• Provide reporting and recommendations to client and project leadership teams.
• Support the preparation of RFPs, technical scopes and consultant assessments where needed.

Required Experience and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transport Engineering, Planning or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in transport design management or transport planning for major developments.
• Good understanding of access design, internal circulation, parking, servicing and integrated mobility planning.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary coordination on complex projects.
• Strong report writing, communication and stakeholder management capability.
• Ability to assess technical submissions and guide consultant teams effectively.
• Middle East experience is preferred, ideally with large‑scale mixed‑use or destination projects.
