Job summary

Talaat Moustafa Group Saudi is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee contract administration, commercial management, risk, and disputes across projects. You will draft, review, negotiate, and manage complex contracts with main contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers, ensuring alignment with company policies and Saudi regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, quantity surveying, business administration, law, or a related field.
• 8–10+ years of relevant experience in contract management, administration, or commercial management, including 3+ years in senior or leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, especially Red and Yellow Books.
• Experience managing high-value and complex contracts is highly desirable.
• Relevant professional certification is an advantage.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Arabic is an advantage.
• Experience with SAP and contract management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract administration and management throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.
• Prepare, review, negotiate, and manage contracts and amendments with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Manage contractual claims, including EOT, variations, change orders, disruption, and prolongation cost claims.
• Assess contractual entitlement, risks, and commercial exposure, recommending mitigation strategies.
• Manage contractual disputes and support negotiation, amicable settlement, mediation, and arbitration processes when required.
• Ensure compliance with FIDIC contracts, applicable Saudi regulations, and relevant Saudi Government Tenders & Procurement Law.
• Monitor contractual milestones, notices, deliverables, amendments, and obligations to ensure timely action and proper documentation.
• Review and validate interim payment applications, retention, advance payments, provisional sum and remeasurement adjustments, and final accounts against contract terms.
• Lead and supervise the Contracts/Commercial team, ensuring effective performance and coordination with stakeholders.
• Prepare and present contracts, commercial, claims, and risk reports with clear recommendations to senior management.
• Lead contract close-out activities, including final accounts, outstanding claims, variations, payments, and documentation.
