Job summary

Buro Happold in Riyadh is seeking a Digital Consultant to help shape digital strategies for cities, infrastructure and the built environment. You will work with clients to understand challenges, define priorities and translate opportunities into actionable plans, delivering clear recommendations and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of digital strategy and transformation projects from defining outcomes to developing deliverables.
• Assess clients' digital capabilities to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop digital visions, roadmaps and business cases aligned with client objectives.
• Plan and facilitate client workshops to gather requirements and build consensus.
• Support development of solution requirements, governance frameworks and operating models.
• Produce client-ready reports and presentations translating research into recommendations.

As a Digital Consultant, you will work with clients to understand their challenges, define priorities and translate digital opportunities into clear, actionable plans. Your responsibilities will include:

Support the delivery of digital strategy and transformation projects, from defining outcomes and planning activities to developing deliverables and capturing lessons learned.

Assess clients’ current digital capabilities, processes and ways of working to identify opportunities for improvement.

Develop digital visions, strategies, roadmaps and business cases aligned with clients’ objectives.

Plan and facilitate client workshops to gather requirements, explore opportunities and build stakeholder consensus.

Support the development of solution requirements, digital procurement approaches, governance frameworks and operating models.

Conduct research and translate findings into clear recommendations, client-ready reports and presentations.

Collaborate with internal specialists and external partners to deliver high-quality outputs tailored to each client’s business.

Build trusted client relationships through active listening, clear communication and reliable delivery.

Contribute to proposals, digital advisory tools, templates and the ongoing development of our services.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for someone who combines an understanding of digital technologies with structured thinking and a collaborative consulting approach. You will bring:

Experience in digital strategy, digital transformation, innovation or a related advisory discipline.

Knowledge or practical experience in one or more of the following: digital strategy and roadmap development, business case development, digital procurement, enterprise or IT architecture, operating models, governance or information management.

Experience supporting projects or workstreams, with the ability to organise activities, manage priorities and deliver to agreed deadlines.

Familiarity with project management approaches and design-led thinking.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex information into practical recommendations.

Confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including contributing to workshops and presenting findings.

Proficiency in producing high-quality reports, presentations and analysis using PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

An understanding of construction processes or experience within the built environment would be beneficial.
