Job summary

Michael Page (UAE) is recruiting a Construction Manager for a reputable Saudi Arabia client in Riyadh. The role oversees on-site civil, electrical, mechanical and architectural construction activities and coordinates engineers to ensure work follows drawings, schedule, budget and safety standards.

You will interface with the Project Director, plan manpower and resources, monitor progress against the master schedule, and resolve conflicts to keep the project on track.

Qualifications

• 15 years experience overall.
• Practical capability overseeing construction activities across towers/high-rise projects.
• Experience coordinating site operations, schedules and day-to-day construction work.
• Ability to monitor project progress and respond to site delivery requirements.
• Knowledge of planning labour, materials and equipment for construction activity.
• Ability to maintain accurate construction records and provide clear project updates.
• Experience working with project stakeholders to coordinate construction requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction operations across all disciplines on site (civil, electrical, mechanical, architectural).
• Manage and coordinate senior and junior discipline engineers to ensure works follow drawings, schedule, budget, and quality/safety standards.
• Act as primary interface between Project Director and site engineering teams; escalate critical issues as required.
• Plan and allocate manpower, equipment, and resources across fronts to meet the schedule.
• Monitor construction progress against master schedule and drive corrective actions for delays or under-performance.
• Ensure formal site work inspections are carried out at all required construction stages prior to sign-off.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary work sequencing and resolve site-level conflicts between disciplines.
• Oversee direct labor crews and/or subcontractors ensuring productivity and workmanship.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and quality/safety teams for smooth execution.
• Report progress, risks, and issues to the Project Director regularly.
