Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join the NEOM programme in Saudi Arabia. This role provides contractual leadership across a major project and requires deep expertise in closeout, final accounts and governance.

You will own closeout plans, reconcile commercial records, and coordinate with project teams to secure completions, handovers and final documentation, while controlling costs and avoiding disputes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of relevant post-qualification experience in contract or commercial management.
• Experience managing high-volume or multi-order closeout programmes.
• Strong capability in final account agreement and financial reconciliation.
• Familiarity with contract law, procurement, and contract administration principles; FIDIC knowledge is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Unifier and SAP; strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain a prioritised closeout plan for Work Orders, Service Orders and contracts.
• Review orders against scope, terms, deliverables and approvals to determine closeout requirements.
• Verify completion and acceptance of contracted services and collect records and handover docs.
• Reconcile values, changes, commitments, invoices and balances; escalate discrepancies.
• Lead final accounts, handle variations, claims and disputed amounts.
• Estimate costs to rectify NCRs and defects; apply financial offsets in final accounts.
• Ensure deliverables including reports, warranties and manuals are complete.
• Coordinate release of securities, guarantees, insurances and other instruments.
• Document residual post-completion obligations and closeout governance.
