Job summary

BEC Arabia in Khobar seeks a Senior BIM Mechanical Engineer to lead BIM modeling for mechanical systems across high-profile projects, ensuring SBC compliance and seamless coordination with architects, engineers and project managers.

You will develop BIM standards, manage workflows, run clash detection using Navisworks, and mentor junior engineers while driving digital transformation in line with Saudi Vision 2030 infrastructure goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years experience in BIM modeling and coordination for mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM tools.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and international standards.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Experience with clash detection processes and Navisworks Manage.
• Experience on large-scale construction projects (commercial/industrial/government).

Responsibilities

• Lead development and management of BIM models for mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and project managers to integrate mechanical designs.
• Develop and enforce BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
• Review and validate mechanical BIM models for SBC compliance and client requirements.
• Implement clash detection and resolution using Navisworks.
• Train and mentor junior BIM engineers and technicians.
