Job summary

BEC Arabia in Khobar seeks a Senior BIM Structural Engineer to lead the structural BIM modeling efforts for major projects aligned with Vision 2030. You will help shape BIM workflows, mentor juniors, and ensure model integrity across disciplines.

You will utilize Revit, Navisworks, and Dynamo to deliver coordinated structural designs, clash-free models, and accurate shop drawings while adhering to SBC and ISO 19650 standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum 8 years of experience in structural engineering, with at least 5 years in BIM modeling and coordination.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Dynamo.
Strong knowledge of SBC and international standards such as ACI and Eurocode.
Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards for BIM management.
Proven experience in clash detection, constructability reviews, and producing shop drawings.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of detailed structural BIM models using Autodesk Revit in compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of structural designs into multidisciplinary BIM models.
Develop and enforce BIM execution plans, standards, and workflows tailored to project-specific needs.
Perform clash detection and resolution using Navisworks to ensure model accuracy and constructability.
Generate detailed shop drawings, schedules, and material take-offs directly from BIM models.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards, including the SBC and ISO 19650 for BIM management.
Collaborate with project managers to align BIM deliverables with project timelines and milestones.
Train and mentor junior BIM engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Implement parametric modeling and automation techniques using Dynamo to enhance productivity and accuracy.
Monitor BIM-related progress, challenges, and opportunities to senior management.

About the Role

BEC Arabia is looking for an experienced Senior BIM Structural Engineer to join our dynamic Technical Department in Khobar. In this pivotal role, you will lead the structural BIM modeling efforts for some of Saudi Arabia’s most ambitious construction and infrastructure projects, including giga-projects aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, MEP engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of structural designs into comprehensive BIM models.

As a Senior BIM Structural Engineer, you will be at the forefront of digital construction, utilizing advanced tools like Revit, Navisworks, and Dynamo to optimize structural designs and workflows. Your work will directly contribute to the successful delivery of high-profile projects for clients such as Saudi Aramco, NEOM, and Red Sea Global. This role offers a clear growth trajectory, with opportunities to mentor junior engineers, lead innovation initiatives, and shape the future of BIM implementation at BEC Arabia.
