Job summary

Atkins Realis Group is seeking a senior BIM GIS Engineer to support the implementation and management of BIM and GIS processes during construction supervision of major development projects in Saudi Arabia. You will maintain digital models and geospatial data, ensuring multidisciplinary coordination and information management compliance.

Responsibilities include model reviews, clash detection, data federations, CDE governance, and integration of GIS with BIM platforms to support site supervision

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Geomatics, GIS, Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline is required.
• Professional certification in BIM, GIS, or Digital Engineering is preferred.
• Certification in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, ArcGIS, or equivalent software is highly desirable.
• Minimum 7-10 years of professional experience in BIM, GIS, digital engineering, or information management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on large construction, engineering consultancy, or site supervision consultancy projects.
• Previous GCC experience, preferably within Saudi Arabia, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review BIM models for completeness, accuracy and compliance across disciplines.
• Assist in multidisciplinary model coordination and identify clashes and constructability issues.
• Maintain federated BIM and GIS data throughout construction lifecycle.
• Verify design changes and field modifications are reflected in BIM models.
• Participate in coordination meetings and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain GIS databases and integrate GIS with BIM platforms.
• Support information management within the Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Monitor digital document workflows and timely submission of deliverables.
• Ensure project data structures and records align with standards.
• Provide BIM and GIS information to site supervision teams for construction monitoring.
