Job summary

HanmiGlobal Saudi is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Engineer to lead design coordination and technical reviews for a prestigious high-rise hospitality project in Makkah. You will oversee construction supervision, QA, and stakeholder management across all phases, ensuring compliance with SBC, international standards, and project guidelines.

The role requires 12–15 years in architectural engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior capacity and GCC high-rise luxury experience.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of relevant architectural engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior architectural engineering role.
• Proven GCC experience on high-rise and luxury hospitality projects.
• Experience in PMC, Project Management Consultancy, or Client Representative environments preferred.
• Saudi National is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review designs, shop drawings, submittals for code compliance.
• Coordinate architectural interfaces with multi-discipline teams.
• Monitor construction to align with drawings, specs, and QA standards.
• Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship and materials.
• Lead design review workshops and provide technical recommendations.
• Oversee façade systems for performance and quality.
• Review RFIs, method statements, and change requests; resolve issues.
• Support planning, scheduling, and progress tracking of architectural works.
• Ensure SBC and international codes, safety, and project guidelines.
• Manage punch lists, defect rectification, testing, commissioning, and closeout.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
• Contribute to risk management and mitigation.
• Support document control and maintain EDMS records.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance.
