Job summary

Assystem GmbH in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Architect (Saudi National) for a fixed-term contract to lead heritage restoration and large-scale urban development projects on site. The role requires coordinating with Urban Planning, Landscape, Structural, MEP, BIM, and Infrastructure teams, while ensuring SBC and MOMRA compliance.

You will review designs, shop drawings, and method statements, support conservation and adaptive reuse, and resolve technical issues during design and construction,

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional architecture experience.
• Experience with heritage restoration, urban regeneration, or large-scale developments.
• Experience on major heritage projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review architectural designs, drawings and specs for heritage and urban projects.
• Ensure designs align with vision, master plan and heritage requirements.
• Review submissions, shop drawings, submittals and method statements.
• Coordinate with Urban Planning, Landscape, Structural, MEP, BIM and Infrastructure teams.
• Conduct site inspections for quality, compliance and drawing adherence.
• Support restoration, adaptive reuse and conservation of heritage assets.
• Ensure SBC, MOMRA and accessibility compliance and heritage authority requirements.
• Participate in value engineering and design optimization while preserving heritage.
• Assist in resolving technical issues during design and construction.
