Job summary

JASARA PMC is seeking a dedicated Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. You will conduct in-depth structural analyses and oversee design development for diverse buildings, collaborating with architects and engineers to deliver integrated solutions.

You will lead technical discussions, review junior designs, and ensure compliance with local and international codes. The role emphasizes mentoring, site involvement, and staying abreast of emerging structural technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• At least 10 years of experience in structural engineering for large-scale projects.
• Proficiency with ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE and strong knowledge of building codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for diverse projects (residential, commercial, institutional).
• Prepare detailed drawings, calculations and specifications for execution.
• Collaborate with architects and other disciplines on integrated designs.
• Ensure compliance with local/international codes and safety standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead project reviews.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough structural analysis and design for diverse projects, including residential, commercial, and institutional buildings
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications to support project execution
• Collaborate closely with architects and other engineering disciplines to develop integrated design solutions
• Ensure adherence to local and international building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Review and provide constructive feedback on designs developed by junior engineers
• Perform site inspections and attend project meetings to address engineering challenges during construction
• Lead technical discussions and provide mentoring to junior team members, fostering their professional growth
• Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in structural engineering to enhance project delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on large-scale projects
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, and SAFE)
• Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and best practices in structural engineering
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Professional Engineering license or similar certification is preferred
• Experience leading projects and providing guidance to junior engineers is highly desirable
