Job summary

Robusta Technology Group RTG in Riyadh is seeking an API Developer Integration Engineer to design, build, and maintain the integration layer that connects a digital Residents and Tenants Portal with third-party and enterprise systems. You will develop secure APIs and middleware enabling authentication, e-signature, payments, access control, CRM integrations, and notifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and consuming REST/JSON APIs in production.
• Solid understanding of OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, and webhook-based architectures.
• Experience with SSO and identity providers (e.g., Azure AD, Okta, Auth0).
• Strong backend development experience (Node.js, .NET, or Java).
• Familiarity with API gateways, middleware, and iPaaS solutions.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
• Knowledge of API security best practices (rate limiting, input validation, secrets management).
• Experience designing integrations from business requirements to technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations with third-party systems.
• Integrate with identity providers to support SSO, 2FA, and session management.
• Develop integrations with e-signature platforms (DocuSign or similar).
• Sync data with CRM/leasing systems for listings, inquiries, leads, and offers.
• Integrate with access-control systems for cards and codes.
• Support payment and invoicing integrations and status synchronization.
• Implement email/SMS notification gateways for alerts and renewals.
• Build middleware to synchronize data across systems.
• Define and maintain API contracts using OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Ensure secure authentication/authorization using OAuth2/OIDC/JWT.
• Create event-driven handlers for asynchronous workflows (e-signature, payments).
• Coordinate with internal/ external teams to manage environments and access.
• Develop API and contract tests and support QA/UAT.
• Monitor API performance and logs and troubleshoot production issues.
• Maintain docs and runbooks for knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, product teams and vendors to deliver integration features.
