Job summary

InnovationTeam in Saudi Arabia is seeking a talented APIGEE API Developer/Consultant to join our API Management Development Team. You will drive the full cycle implementation of APIs exposed on our API Management Platform across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in systems integration, hands-on APIGEE experience, strong API security knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with designers, architects, and project managers to deliver enterprise‑grade APIs on‑premise and in cloud

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years experiences in Systems Integration including API development with hands-on experience in API Management Solutions.
Fluent English communication skills; verbal and written.
Experience with APIGEE for enterprise level APIs on large scale projects.
Extensive experience with APIGEE policies: security, throttling, data transformation.
Strong knowledge of API security: Basic Auth, OAuth2, SSL Mutual Authentication.
Experience with JS scripting in APIGEE.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON; SOAP/XML.
Clear understanding of OpenAPI (Swagger) specification.

Responsibilities

Participate in API design and writing API specs and design documents.
Collaborate with team leads, designers, and project managers for status updates.
Implement and manage APIs on APIGEE, including on-premise and cloud components.
Contribute to security and compliance reviews for API exposures.
Support daily/weekly status meetings and project communications.
