Job summary

InterContinental The Red Sea Resort in Saudi Arabia seeks a Security Manager to lead the Security Department, safeguarding guests, colleagues, visitors, and assets across the resort.

You will develop and enforce security policies, supervise operations, manage CCTV and access control, coordinate emergency response, and liaise with local authorities to ensure compliance with Saudi Civil Defense requirements while upholding IHG standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Security Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant security experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in luxury hotel/resort security preferred.
• Strong knowledge of security operations, risk management, and incident investigation.
• Knowledge of Saudi security, safety and Civil Defense requirements is an advantage.
• Proficient in English; Arabic is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations of the Security Department.
• Ensure safety of guests, colleagues, visitors, and resort assets.
• Develop, implement, and review security policies and standards.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, alarms and other security systems.
• Coordinate emergency response procedures and investigations.
• Prepare security reports, incident logs, and records.
• Coordinate with local authorities and external agencies as required.
• Manage access control and ensure proper authorization for staff, contractors and visitors.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi laws, civil defense requirements, and resort policies.
• Lead security briefings, training, drills, and emergency preparedness exercises.
