Job summary

BEC Arabia is seeking a Tax Compliance Specialist to join our Finance Department in Riyadh. You will ensure full compliance with Saudi tax regulations, including VAT, Zakat, and corporate income tax, while supporting the financial operations of a leading construction and engineering firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance in construction/engineering.
• Knowledge of Saudi tax regulations, including VAT, Zakat, and corporate income tax.
• Proficiency in tax software and financial systems like SAP or Oracle.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic desirable.
• Familiarity with GOSI and Saudi regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Saudi tax regulations by preparing and submitting filings.
• Monitor tax law changes and assess impact on operations.
• Develop tax policies to streamline compliance and reduce risk.
• Coordinate with external auditors and government authorities during audits.
• Prepare detailed tax reports and analyses for management.
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and optimization strategies.
• Assist in financial statement disclosures related to tax.
• Train internal teams on tax compliance best practices.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with tax insights.
• Collaborate across functions to integrate tax considerations into projects.
