Job summary

BECO Capital is expanding its Saudi Team to accelerate its presence in the Saudi founder ecosystem. You will work on origination, due diligence, and portfolio support, building strong founder relationships and market intelligence to drive high-quality deal flow.

You will develop models, prepare investment memos, and represent BECO across local accelerators and university programs. Arabic and English fluency are valued as you engage with entrepreneurs and partners.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of experience in the Saudi startup ecosystem or related venture roles.
• A live, personal network among Saudi founders and ecosystem players in Riyadh.
• A demonstrable record of sourcing deals and introductions.
• Strong commercial judgment with financial and analytical capability, including building models from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Origination: drive BECO’s early-stage sourcing in the Kingdom and identify best deals quickly.
• Founder relationships: build and maintain founder relationships aligned with BECO values.
• Ecosystem presence: represent BECO across accelerators, syndicates, university programs, and government initiatives.
• Conviction building: perform due diligence, market sizing, valuations, and scenario testing to support investment decisions.
• Investment memos and primers: draft clear, principle-based memorandums for partner review.
• System hygiene: log all activity into BECO’s centralised system.
• Portfolio support: gather and validate reporting data and surface issues to improve ROI for portfolio companies.
• Market intelligence: develop differentiated views on market and sector movements.
