Job summary

Sarj | سرج in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Business Development Specialist to open and grow enterprise and government relationships from first conversation to POC and contract. You will own outbound prospecting and qualification, collaborating with Customer Experience, Operations, and Product teams.

The role requires building target account lists, conducting discovery calls in Arabic and English, and managing the full sales cycle including demos, proposals, and handover, with a focus on the Saudi

Qualifications

• Experience in business development or enterprise sales, with a track record of selling to banks, fintechs, government entities, or other large organizations.
• Native Arabic speaker with a Saudi dialect and professional English.
• Proven track record of self-sourcing pipeline and closing deals.
• Strong understanding of the Saudi enterprise and government landscape.
• Comfortable discussing integrations, APIs, telephony, and related systems.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with solid CRM and sales tool experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage target account lists across banking, fintech, healthcare, government, and other key sectors.
• Run outreach in Arabic and English via email, LinkedIn, phone, and WhatsApp, and follow up on inbound leads.
• Qualify leads and run discovery calls with decision-makers in Customer Experience, IT, Digital Transformation, and other business teams.
• Build strategic relationships with senior stakeholders and industry partners, and identify new use cases for Sarj’s Voice AI and AI agents in KSA.
• Represent Sarj at conferences, industry events, and community gatherings.
• Own the full sales cycle for assigned opportunities: discovery, coordinating solution design and demos with our Operations team (Product Engineers and Agent Engineers), POCs, proposals, government procurement, negotiation, and deal closure, followed by a smooth handover to the team.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting.
