Job description

Our client is a global leader in digital transformation and technology services, renowned for delivering cutting-edge solutions to industry giants. They are currently expanding their Retail Track and are seeking a visionary SAP Solution Architect to shape, design, and drive next-generation planning and data strategies for a major retail portfolio.

NB: THIS IS A 12 MONTH CONTRACT AND YOU MUST ALREADY BE IN KSA.

The Role Overview

As the SAP Solution Architect, you will own the end-to-end design and optimization of SAP solutions that power retail operations. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical execution, focusing heavily on modern retail planning processes and leveraging SAP Datasphere for advanced analytics, data warehousing, and real-time integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect & Design: Create end-to-end SAP solutions for retail planning, forecasting, and inventory management utilizing SAP IBP and SAP Datasphere.
• Data Innovation: Lead the architecture, data modeling, and integration of SAP Datasphere to deliver real-time data processing and advanced analytics.
• Strategic Roadmap: Develop and maintain technical blueprints, architecture documentation, and future-state solution roadmaps aligned with retail business goals.
• System Integration: Ensure flawless connectivity between SAP Planning systems, Datasphere, and core retail touchpoints (e.g., POS, ERP, CRM).
• Leadership & Collaboration: Act as the trusted technical advisor to senior stakeholders, while providing technical steering and mentorship to cross-functional delivery teams.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of the curve on SAP releases, cloud innovations, and retail tech trends to continuously elevate the client's platform capabilities.

What We Are Looking For

Experience Blueprint: A minimum of 8+ years in the SAP ecosystem, with at least 3 dedicated years acting as a Solution Architect across SAP Planning and Data Analytics.

Technical & Industry Expertise

• Retail Domain Expertise: Proven track record delivering SAP solutions within the retail sector, featuring a deep understanding of merchandising, supply chain, and retail planning.
• Core SAP Stack: Strong hands-on architectural experience with SAP Datasphere (or SAP Data Warehouse Cloud / BW/4HANA) and SAP IBP (or APO).
• Extended Ecosystem: Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and integration tools like SAP CPI / PI/PO.

Soft Skills & Education

• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and storytelling skills—the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to business leaders.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Preferred: Relevant SAP Certifications (IBP, Datasphere, S/4HANA).
