Job summary

Responsibilities

• Ensure the right number of competent co-workers are in the right place at the right time to serve customers.
• Maintain sales area in excellent condition, fully stocked, and presented as per merchandising basics.
• Ensure the team has knowledge of the IKEA product range to provide customers with accurate information and great shopping experience.
• Understand and effectively use IKEA sales and communication channels to meet different customer needs and maximize commercial opportunities.
• Take responsibility for the department’s sales goals and implement action plans in line with country and Home Furnishing Business priorities.
• Steer sales towards top-selling products, prioritized products, and IKEA service products to maximize sales and long-term profitability.
• Identify and act quickly on opportunities related to product availability, overstock, out-of-stock situations, and customer feedback.
• Monitor competitors and market development and take appropriate actions when required.
• Develop team members through coaching, feedback, and learning, while ensuring effective succession planning.
• Promote IKEA’s social and environmental commitments and engage the team in contributing to sustainability.
