Job Title: Sales Engineer – HVAC Aftermarket (Maintenance)

Position Summary
The Sales Engineer – HVAC Aftermarket is responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of maintenance contracts, retrofit solutions, spare parts, and service offerings for HVAC systems. The role focuses on developing long-term customer relationships, identifying service opportunities, and ensuring high customer satisfaction while meeting sales targets.
1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify, qualify, and pursue sales opportunities for HVAC maintenance contracts (AMC), retrofits, upgrades, and spare parts.
- Conduct site surveys to assess equipment condition and propose suitable maintenance solution.
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals aligned with customer needs.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with facility managers, consultants, contractors, and end users.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding HVAC system performance and maintenance needs.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and handle customer complaints professionally.
3. Technical Expertise
- Understand HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV, package units, and controls.
- Recommend energy‑efficient solutions, system upgrades, and performance improvement options.
- Collaborate with service teams to ensure accurate technical assessments and proper execution of maintenance contracts.
4. Proposal & Contract Management
- Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and tender submissions for maintenance and retrofit projects.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service scope with customers.
- Follow up on proposals to secure orders and ensure timely contract renewal.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments in the HVAC aftermarket sector.
- Identify new business opportunities and emerging customer needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (mandatory)
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in HVAC aftermarket sales, service sales, or maintenance contract sales.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of HVAC equipment, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting basics.
- Ability to read technical drawings and equipment specifications.
- Knowledge of energy‑saving solutions and retrofit technologies is an advantage.
Soft Skills
