Job summary

Saudi Services for Electro Mechanic Works (SSEM) is seeking a Safety Engineer to join its HSE team in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on developing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, site inspections and training to ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations.

The ideal candidate holds recognized HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA 30 and has knowledge of the construction industry, strong communication and monitoring skills, and the ability to work under pressure

Qualifications

• NEBOSH, IOSH or OSHA 30 certification recognized.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety practices.
• Good communication and monitoring skills.

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures

We’re now looking for a Safety Engineer to join our HSE team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
• Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations

• Conduct safety training for workers and supervisors
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices
• Maintain safety records and documentation

Requirements

• Recognized HSE certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA 30 Hours)
• Knowledge of the construction industry
• Good communication and monitoring skills
• Able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
• Previous client approvals is a plus (SEC, SWA, RC, Marafiq, GACA, Aramco, etc.)
