Overview

One of our clients is in the Power Industry in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and is hiring for the position of Safety Engineer.

Qualifications

Years of Experience: 10-12 years of experience

Educational Qualification: Bachelor in Engineering plus Relevant Safety Certifications (OSHA, NEBOSH)

Notice Period: Immediate joiners or a maximum one-month notice period.

Responsibilities
  • Create and implement workplace health and safety plans and procedures.
  • Evaluate health and safety practices and procedures for risk assessment and follow legal guidelines.
  • Conduct accident prevention training and health and safety training.
  • Inspect equipment for unsafe workplace conditions.
  • Monitor employee conformity to safety law and policies.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to find causes and take preventive measures for further incidents.
  • Suggest solutions, improvements and prevention steps for safety issues.
  • Coordinating with Client Safety Manager on project issues through coordination meetings and whenever required.
  • Perform safety surveys and inspections, prepare written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective or preventive measures that were indicated and follow up to ensure measures shave been implanted.
  • Assist and maintain environmental reports.
  • Maintains safety files & records.
  • Other duties as assigned.
